Today we will answer a few questions related to our franchise policy and the franchise model we have developed. For the purposes of our online blog, we will share with you part of the presentation addressed to our future partners.
"I have not worked in the catering industry before, will I be able to handle the burden of running a restaurant?"
The basic issue that we discuss during the first video conference or in-person meeting is the term "RESTAURATOR". It is extremely important to visualize, at the beginning of future cooperation, what the active running of a catering establishment involves. We decided that there is no more effective solution for transferring this knowledge than an honest conversation with the owner of the parent establishment, Marta Makar. This type of meeting illuminates the perspective on all the advantages and difficulties of the everyday life of a restaurateur. However, you will not have to go through this hardest, initial path alone. It turns out that to become a full-fledged restaurateur and, incidentally, our partner, you don't need to have many years of experience in the industry, sincere willingness, conscientiousness and showing entrepreneurial spirit are enough. We will take care of everything else!
"What can I count on in connection with starting cooperation?"
We will present to you in points what trust in the Mama Thai brand involves, in connection with which the future owner receives:
1. "Know-How" Book - i.e. everything we know about running a restaurant, serving dishes or drinks in technical and practical terms, organized in one, extensive collection of knowledge.
2. Selection of location, interior design and selection of equipment for the premises, based on the cooperation and experience developed during our several years of activity.
3. Comprehensive training - i.e. a course divided into 3 segments, lasting about 4 weeks, conducted by trained employees of our premises.
4. Supervision of every stage of running a restaurant: from the first talks, through the opening ceremony, and throughout the entire, unlimited period of full-fledged operation of the premises, carried out by a franchise supervisor appointed for this purpose.
5. Marketing support - this means receiving all materials in physical form, such as leaflets, menus or stickers, in advance, and creating your own social media and entrusting their management to an appropriately qualified, local social media manager.
6. Shared shopping cart and sales system - we place orders with shared sellers, which guarantees identical quality, repeatability and ensures the lowest prices. The sales system is a tool without which the restaurant cannot function. Our operator will both adapt the previously built website and conduct appropriate training for staff so that placing orders will additionally streamline work, and for owners, will indicate the usability in terms of an analytical and control tool.
"I would like to open a smaller point, without a dining room, can we come up with something?"
In order to meet the requirements and visions of all interested parties, we have prepared for 3 types of premises. We have developed an ideal solution for smaller and huge spaces, which we are able to adapt and equip to properly use every meter. We have distinguished:
1. Mama Thai Point - a premises tailored for the so-called quick service - takeaway and delivery. Limited to a minimum, a shortened menu enabling express serving of our exceptional dishes, and equipment adapted to smaller spaces - these are the characteristics of our Point.
2. Mama Thai Standard - a premises with a dining room, and the possibility of expanding with a garden, with a full menu from the kitchen side and limited in terms of the bar. Adapted to serve stationary dishes, aimed directly at families looking for a friendly atmosphere. 3. Mama Thai Premium - top-shelf gastronomy, full menu with the possibility of expanding the offer to include catering, sophisticated room design and a huge kitchen area, adapted to each stage of production of the dish - these are just some of the many positive features of the place, which, as the name says, is Premium.
